The Team Finland network promotes Finland and its interests abroad: the internationalisation of Finnish enterprises, investments in Finland, and the country brand. The Team Finland operating model brings together the key actors and services in these fields. The core of the network consists of the publicly funded organisations operating in these fields, such as the ministries, Finland’s network of diplomatic missions, Finpro, Tekes, national culture and science institutes, Finnvera, Finnfund, and the regional internationalisation services, built upon the ELY Centres.
The Team Finland network will help your enterprise become more international, grow, and succeed in the global market. For more information on services to companies seeking internationalisation, see: services.team.finland.fi.

Ms. Nina Vaskunlahti, Ambassador
Turkey is an important trade partner and one of the key emerging markets for Finland. The regional importance of Turkey offers many possibilities to develop business relations also with countries in the Middle East and North Africa, Southern Caucasus, and Central Asia.
As a part of the Foreign Service of Finland, the Embassy of Finland in Ankara oversees Finnish economic and cultural interests in the host state. The Embassy works in cooperation with Finpro Trade center in Istanbul and other actors forming Team Finland -network in Turkey. General aim of the network is to actively contribute to the image of Finland as an open and creative forerunner in technology and as a functional society which is committed to equality, education, and environmental values.
Team Finland -actors support market access and operation of Finnish businesses in Turkey, and they also promote foreign investments in Finland. Development of trade and economic cooperation between Finland and Turkey is supported e.g. by providing public export promotion and internationalisation services. In trade and economic sector, the focus areas are ICT, environment technologies (Cleantech), forestry, energy, and health.
Cultural and other promotional events are arranged especially in the field of design and education. The activities facilitate networking between Finnish and Turkish actors. In communications the Embassy web pages and social media are used to distribute information about Finland.
